Demigod Drawing Challenge - Haruki

So gave out a challenge to choose a god from any mythology (Greek, Roman, Babylonian, etc.) and create (even better if you can draw yourself as) [but that's just me] a demigod based from the one you chose. You can find the challenge here: Demigod Drawing Challenge!!!

Basing on my personality and preferences, I came to the conclusion that I am most like the Japanese sun goddess Amaterasu. I really like it everytime the sun shines brightly, and it's also easy for me to bear grudges with someone, until it is they who apologize first.

So what you have here is Haruki, the son of Amaterasu, the goddess of the sun and the universe. He was born when a strand of Amaterasu's hair got caught in a crevice while she was coming out of Ama-no-Iwato ("heavenly rock cave") [I am making this up, of course].

Haruki wields a divine kusarigama (chain-scythe) with a mirror attached to it that reflects the sun's rays, amplifying his solar powers. But despite carrying a weapon, he prefers not to engage in combat, whatever the circumstances are, unless it is for self-defense or defending others. If he is offended by someone, however, everyone will suffer the consequences. He will either summon a very harsh drought or prevent the sun from rising, plunging the whole world in partial darkness. He is easily appeased by anything, though.
